Issues Affecting Prince Albert National Park

The CPS Board of Directors has identified four main priorities for the Scoping Document required by Parks Canada Agency as a preface to preparation of the Park Management Plan. These priorities were identified to members in the CPS Bulletin, Volume 8 Winter 2004, as 1) Infrastructure, 2) Watershed Management, 3) Increasing Visitation, and 4) Community Involvement. These priority areas have also been the focal points for related issues, which will fluctuate between active and inactive status depending on activity in the Park at any given time, and CPS interest in and capacity for pursuing various issues.

Currently the CPS Board is tracking the following issues, of which the issues identified as active are priority. For more information on these issues, click on each issue.
